KCRA reports residents of El Dorado County, east of Sacramento, are expressing dismay and frustration over their fire tax bills.  Residents feel the tax is unfair because many households are already paying for fire protection.  Others take issue with the arbitrary nature of the boundary lines of the State Responsibility Area, where the tax is imposed.
